**CPChem: Specialty chemicals & polyalphaolefinen door chemische specialisten.**

Van de verpakking van voedsel tot het smeermiddel in een motor: chemie zit overal Bij Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) produceren we op een verantwoorde wijze chemicaliën en grondstoffen die de wereld nodig heeft, met toepassingen in meer dan 70.000 producten.

Door tal van investeringsprojecten slagen we erin om op een duurzame manier te groeien tot een wereldwijde speler met bijna 5.000 medewerkers. Ook in België zitten we niet stil, er wordt volop geïnvesteerd in onze productiesites te Tessenderlo (organosulfur) en Beringen (synthetische smeermiddelen), waar we de capaciteit van deze laatste in 2024 zullen verdubbelen.

Om onze groei verder te zetten, zijn we op zoek naar een Health & Safety Coordinator (Preventieadviseur Niveau 1) voor onze sites te Tessenderlo en Beringen.

**Om de CPChem motor soepel te laten draaien, zoeken we iemand die fungeert als**:
Risico management

Past uitgebreide kennis en vaardigheden toe om risico's op werkplaatsen te identificeren en evalueren, gerelateerd aan veiligheid, hygiëne, ergonomie en (mentale) gezondheid.

Adviesverlening inzake veiligheid en gezondheid

Fungeert als deskundige op vlak van veiligheid en gezondheid door veiligheid en gezondheid te promoten en preventieve en/of beschermende middelen in chemische procesinstallaties, machines en gereedschappen en bij ontwerp van werkplaatsen aan te bevelen.

Contractor Safety management

Past uitgebreide kennis en vaardigheden toe voor het beheer en implementeren van veiligheids
- en gezondheidsaspecten van korte en lange termijn contractorwerken in samenspraak met de belangrijkste stakeholders met betrekking tot projecten en turnarounds.

Wettelijke opdrachten

Houdt toezicht op naleving van geldende wettelijke en corporate regelgeving.

Operationele veiligheid

Fungeert als deskundige in het voorzien van bepaalde aspecten van plant veiligheidsactiviteiten met ondersteuning van en in samenwerking met collega's van de eigen afdeling en van andere afdelingen.

Continue verbetering

Detecteert, coördineert en implementeert verbeterprocessen in kader van veiligheid en gezondheid.

Incident management

Past uitgebreide kennis toe om mee te werken aan een beleid dat gericht is op het voorkomen van gebeurtenissen.

Noodplan

Fungeert als deskundige ten einde een goed werkend intern en extern noodplan te verzekeren

Veiligheid en compliance

Voert zijn/haar taken uit binnen het kader van de wetgeving, regelgeving, policies, procedures & werkinstructies

**Profil**:
**Ons ontbrekende chemische element.**
- heeft idealiter een diploma als Master veiligheidswetenschappen of een getuigschrift preventieadviseur niveau 1
- straalt persoonlijk leiderschap uit en heeft de kracht om mensen te overtuigen
- heeft een sterke affiniteit met veiligheid en technisch inzicht om vereisten toe te passen in de praktijk
- werkt zelfstandig en is sterk in plannen, organiseren, prioriteiten stellen
- is vlot met MS Office toepassingen
- spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands en Engels
