Zurich Benelux Insurance is currently looking for an Underwriting Service Specialist Domestic for the Underwriting Service Department in our office in Zaventem. In this role you will provide administrative support to various functions such as the Underwriters department, the Zurich network and Zurich Operations. You will therefore work in close cooperation with several internal and external stakeholders.

As an Underwriting Service Specialist, you are a key component of our business operations and contributing to our goal to deliver outstanding service to our large domestic clients. Whenever a new insurance deal is closed by our underwriting department, the Underwriting Service Specialist is responsible for the administrative processing. In our custom-built booking and policy system, you will enter the correct policy and client information. Besides that, you will also create and process invoices and occasionally create insurance policies. Doing this timely and accurately is critical to ensure the service satisfaction of internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, there are several initiatives and projects to participate in related to IT systems and process improvements.

**What will you be doing?**- Data collection and preparation of policies (for new business and business renewal)- Servicing of all Lines of Business where Zurich Benelux is active on its local market- Data registration into local IT systems- Identification of areas in need of improvement and suggestion of solutions to colleagues and UWS manager- Participation in projects depending on the business needs while ensuring alignment with UWS Manager- Register exposure, coverage data and policy information- Maintain exposure data and policy information during policy period- Issue policy and invoice

**What are we looking for?**- Graduaat or equivalent/higher education- Knowledge of / Experience in insurance administration is a plus- Strong communicator and fluent/native in Dutch and preferably French. To ensure a smooth integration competent English is an asset.- IT minded: ability to adopt new systems easily and good knowledge of Word and Excel- Team player, both able to work independently and with your team- Service-minded and pro-active attitude- Stress-resistant and not afraid of working with deadlines- Interested in operational excellence (improvement of procedures and processes)
