Our client is located in **Mechelen**.
As an "Accounting Specialist", you play a crucial role within the Finance & Accounting team, focusing on providing support for daily and monthly accounting tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to the monthly and year-end closing procedures.
- Provide support for day-to-day accounting operations.
- Demonstrate knowledge and involvement in Accounts Payable and/or Account Receivable processes.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Handle ad-hoc accounting requests from Management.
- Manage customer and supplier follow-up.
**The requested qualifications for this job include**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economics/Finance/Accounting or related fields.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken Dutch and English.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience with SAP.
- Effective communication skills, combined with analytical thinking and a results-oriented approach.
