Job Description
Fragomen’s Junior Business Immigration Consultant position, formerly our Senior Immigration Analyst role, will provide you with the opportunity to make an immediate impact to our business, as well as offer training, development, and long-term growth opportunities. This is a permanent, full-time position that will be based in our Brussels office (although other Fragomen EMEA office locations are being considered) and you will work within the EU Advisory team mainly on international and EU social security matters.

About the role:
Training is provided on a regular basis, and you will be working together with Attorneys and more experienced Consultants that will support you in your day-to-day work. Managers will be overseeing your work performance and will make sure you have what you need to grow.
Other key responsibilities will include:- Prepare and review local social security registration guides in EU member States-
- Review existing social security databases and social security knowledge and store under the supervision of the Knowledge manager- Document review. Request, collect, and file documents in proper order- Keep key clients up to date with developments in local, EU and international social security law/processes- Compile and summarize large quantities of data for clients, managers and reporting needs- Be responsible for accurately updating our case management system with client data- Notify Senior Consultants of any out-of-scope requests from clients- Answer client queries, host consultation calls when applicable. A more experienced Consultant would normally join these consultation calls- Ad-hoc project work to streamline/improve processes- Oversee billing for own cases
About you:
The ideal person for this role will be a self-starter with a background in a busy client facing role with excellent organisational skills acquired in a corporate or public organisation, who is willing to take up a new challenge in an exciting environment. We are looking for up to 2 years of professional experience.
You will also be an effective communicator in English (written and verbally), be curious and proactive and able to manage your own time effectively. French and/or Dutch knowledge would be a plus.
Some background on EU social security law or social security regulations is desirable, but full training will be provided.
