To further ensure and grow our finance capabilities in EMEA, we are currently looking for a **Senior Finance Controller, EMEA.**
This position will have primary responsibility to manage the EMEA accounting function, including accounts receivable, account payable, treasury, banking relationships, general ledger account and month end close.
He/she will also be responsible for ensuring the right support is provided to Business Leaders regarding accounting questions and issues.
The role requires excellent financial and accounting skills, experience in dealing with internal and external audits and managing an accounting team in EMEA and working closely together with HQ.
**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
As Senior Finance Controller, EMEA you will report to the Corporate Controller in HQ US and your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage the EMEA accounting function, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, banking relationships, general ledger accounting and month end close.
- Manage a team of people, including developing and motivating them and ensuring they have the required skills and competencies to execute effectively the responsibilities of the Accounting and Controlling function.
- Ensure adherence to Corporate accounting policies and internal financial controls policies.
- Research and provide insights to business leaders regarding accounting issues.
- Implement new accounting pronouncements.
- Coordinate the work related to both internal and external audits.
- Preparation month end and quarterly reporting
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related discipline.
- Proven related finance experience of 8+ years in a corporate environment
- Experience in overseeing cash management activities.
- Great analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial results and balances to ensure appropriate accounting and initiating corrective actions where needed.
- Proficient knowledge of planning, coordinating, and responding to external and internal audits.
- High proficiency to present complex analysis with clarity and to work in a deadline driven environment.
- Knowledge of Oracle Finance is a plus.
- Self -starter with the ability to make sound business decisions with mínimal guidance
- Great people leader that can supervise and coach others.
- Collaborative with a global mindset, engage with internal and external stakeholders across regions, divisions
- Excellent communicator written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. High proficiency in spoken and written English.
