Correggio Consulting is a specialised boutique consulting firm that advises major energy market players and international institutions in the energy regulatory and legal space. We assist large energy and commodity companies in entering new markets, securing trade permits and advise them on various regulatory and contractual aspects of energy commodity trading.. Our unique CorreggioNET service provides compliance support for large international physical traders in power and gas. We have an opening in Brussels for a highly qualified young professional with proven interest in the commodity markets, available to start in March 2023._
**Main responsibilities**:
- Assisting the Correggio team with current projects and in rendering consulting services on all aspects of energy trading and risk management of commodities;
- Support with implementing legal changes in our interactive CorreggioNET platform, providing regulatory monitoring services to subscribing clients;
- Close support in the analysis of business compliance and commercial strategy in the traded energy markets;
- Various research and drafting assignments on energy-related topics;
- Database and website management, including editing of monthly regulatory report and continuous update of the Correggio website;
- External communication management (e.g. maintaining Correggio’s presence in social media; helping to keep the Correggio website up to date; coordinating promotional webinars).
**Required profile**:
- Post-graduate degree preferably in law, or related field;
- Qualified interest and demonstrated knowledge of the energy sector, including relevant professional experience of at least 2 years;
- Excellent written and spoken English and a good command of at least one other European language, notably any Central European / Eastern European language would be an advantage;
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, hard-working team-player with “hands-on” approach and good organizational skills;
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and deliver results under strict deadlines.
**Remuneration**:
- We offer a three months induction period starting in March 2023. Subject to successful completion of the induction period, we stand ready to offer a permanent position.
- We offer a competitive remuneration and an international working environment in an attractive office in the Schuman area. Our office premises are in Brussels, however, remote work from any other location is also possible upon completion of the induction period.
