Within our department “Engineering & Property Services we would also like to take this role as innovator. This by handling the infrastructure in a safe, reliable and efficient way building an attractive workplace for all our employees.
The sub department Facilities Operations manages the critical buildings, HVAC, utilities (steam, cooling media, heating fluids, water systems, pressurized air, high voltage, nitrogen, ) and installations (steam generator, cooling cells, air handling units, clean rooms,..) on the sites of Beerse, Geel and Olen; from the central production and distribution to our chemical and pharmaceutical production
- and R&D buildings.
For the team responsible for the maintenance and exploitation of the production buildings and utilities in Geel we are currently looking for a Facility Manager:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Act as system owner for the assets in control of the E&PS department of the Geel site
- Operational lead of the E&PS facilities team
- Drive performance to meet the maintenance deadlines.
- Coach and develop maintenance coordinator team this in line with our J&J Credo
- Control and improve processes and structure of our internal and external partners this to support production in the optimum way.
- Strive for an executional excellence mind set in the organization.
- Prepare, report and correct operational budget to meet maintenance requirements
- Ensure Safety and Quality Compliance GxP guidelines are embedded in the way of working within the maintenance team.
- You work together with colleagues and our external partners in order to meet our yearly shut-down deadline.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
You have a Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent through experience
(mechanical, electrical, industrial, bio).
**Experience and Skills**:
- Managerial experience is beneficial.
- You can collaborate with internal partners (EHS, Quality, Engineering ) and external partners (contractors, sector-organizations )
- You are flexible and result-oriented, you can independently plan and prioritize work to achieve certain goals.
- You take initiative and on top of being an autonomous colleague, you are also a genuine team player who contributes to results and to a pleasant working environment together with his/her colleagues.
- You are innovative and pragmatic.
- You have the potential to grow and are prepared to take on more responsibilities.
- You have effective communication skills both written and spoken Dutch and English.
- Knowledge of GxP regulation and/or Chemical manufacturing is a strong asset.
