Atlas Copco is a Swedish company but the global headquarters of its compressor business is in Wilrijk, where a total of around 3,000 people are employed.

Product Owner SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
We are looking for a passionate and committed SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Product Owner to take a leadership role, developing and strengthening the Master data management and governance process securing collaboration with the business strategy and the master data steerco within Atlas Copco Compressor Technique Business Area.
You are assigned ownership of the SAP MDG product and are tasked with shaping and monitoring the product landscape within the organization. You work closely with your team of internal and external resources to ensure the availability of sound technical documentation and training material. You would ensure that the abnormalities detected with the data are cleanses and all required configurations are executed in a timely manner.
You are a dynamic person with strong interpersonal skills. As such this role will grow your experience further through a wide interaction with different divisions within Business Area. You will also liaise with your counterparts on Group level and in the other Atlas Copco Group Business Areas to leverage to the maximum their experience and best practices where possible. Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- You stay up to date with regards to SAP's roadmap for SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
- You define the roadmap of SAP MDG within Atlas Copco together with the Master Data stakeholders
- You define the role of SAP MDG within the Atlas Copco IT-landscape (combined exercise with IT-architects)
- You set up & maintain the operational organization relating to SAP MDG to ensure:
- Proper documentation on technical setup
- Foreseeing generic training material for end users
- Foresee that data is kept in sync across the two SAP MDG connected systems as expected
- Foresee that detected invalid data gets cleansed where needed
- Foresee that required configuration updates are timely executed
- Foresee that a proper support organization is in place which matches operational requirements.
- You coordinate future developments related to SAP MDG
- You follow up on operational & investment costs related to SAP MDG
- You inform the Master Data Steerco regarding operational status of SAP MDG
- You request for budget-approval for developments related to SAP MDG to the MD Steerco
- You represent SAP MDG within other recurrent meetings (Data governance steerco, DA meeting,)
- You would assist in the selection of implementation partner for various initiatives. You help to define & prioritize missing data governance across Atlas Copco
Profiel
Skills & Experience
- You have a university degree in business, engineering, economics, informatics or equal by experience
- You have strong leadership skills next to very strong analytical skills
- You have at least 5 years of experience in master data management
- Experience with master data management tool is a must
- Experience with SAP Data model is a strong asset
- Experience with team management is a strong asset
- Experience in in project management is an asset
- Experience in business case development is an asset
- Understanding of business processes and affinity with IT
- You have good negotiation and communication skills
- Experience in Power BI among other data components in Azure is an added value
- You have an excellent level of English
- Local language skills are considered as a strong asset
