**What will your responsibilities be within bioMérieux?**

The Product Manager will be responsible for product management and operational marketing activities for the bioMérieux's Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) product range, including reagents, instruments, software and services in the Benelux region. This position also contributes to product management activities at Northern Europe Cluster (NEC) level for the Food product launch.

This position reports directly to the NEC FSQ Marketing Manager. The Product Manager needs to work with high autonomy with travel across the Benelux territory expected.

**Main accountabilities include**:

- Ensure Marketing support for Benelux and contribute to the achievement of the sales budget of the FSQ business, execute the strategic Marketing plan at local level. Be a brand ambassador for both bioMérieux’s customers and internal stakeholders
- Prepare product launch file (G2M process) at NEC level according to strategy defined by FSQ marketing manager and manage the life cycle management of the portfolio at NEC level (SAP product creation, change management, product deletion, marketing quality process). Take ownership of launches and when ready transfer the knowledge to the sales team at local level.
- Contribute to the development of marketing plans ,in collaboration with the NEC marketing manager. Support NEC FSQ marketing and Industry sales manager to prepare sales budget for the Food market
- Execute the marketing communication & digital plan defined by the NEC FSQ marketing manager (update marketing material on show pad at Cluster level, co-organise and support telemarketing specialist at cluster level for digital marketing campaigns)
- Support Sales with field activities on a regular basis, to prepare arguments, to test market before launching products at local level. Be the Voice Of Customer (VOC) at local level and ensure marketing feedback is correctly communicated to corporate.
- Supportother functions in the organisation, in order to back up the offer design by marketing; check that plan and organisation of these functions are adequate to deliver the designed offer. (sales forecasts, logistic, sales administration, Price list update) at NEC level
- Interact with sales team, NEC FSQ marketing managerparticipate to sales meetings, product meeting and local congresses and develop a local network with KOL and market influencers
- Continuously follow courses, trainings etc...about the bioMerieux products and competition to become the local expert in defined product ranges.

**Who are you?**

**Studies and experience**:

- Advanced scientific education, good knowledge and understanding of industrial microbiology techniques.
- 2-3 years minimum of sales and/or marketing experience

**Skills and qualifications**:

- Ability to understand microbiology and food laboratory workflows
- Highly organized with the ability carry organization of local meetings and make local study evaluation protocols
- Demonstrates emotional intelligence, flexible and team player approach who enjoys working in an international environment
- Analytical thinking
- Customer focus & result oriented
- Strong communication skills, able to share the knowledge to the sales team and motivate the sales team for your products.
- Enthusiast & highly committed to succeed
