- A lot has changed in the real estate industry. External factors such as a financial crisis, a pandemic or natural disasters mean that organizations with large real estate portfolios are faced with new challenges. The KPMG Real Estate Advisory team helps to achieve the strategic objectives of investors, companies and public authorities through their real estate. We are looking for an ambitious manager who can develop this young team in order to take on their real estate challenges together with our clients**Your challenges**
- You are responsible for the development of the internal strategy for Real Estate Advisory (REA)
- Maintain existing clients & attract new clients through commercial initiatives
- Seek & manage strategic alliances with partners for new value propositions and the expansion of our customer portfolio
- Operationally manage & expand the REA team
- Consistently achieve commercial targets that are linked to your profile
- Build, maintain and contribute your network within KPMG, both nationally & internationally with the perspective to generate more business. You act as a central point of contact for the Belgian REA practice
- Strategic real estate advice to management teams of real estate intensive organizations
- Supporting customers in their sustainability strategy regarding their building stock
- Managing multidisciplinary teams on various projects of the REA practice
- Developing the Center of Excellence for the Belgian real estate market

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- We need you in three areas: internal development of the practice and (new) value propositions, commercial activities for Real Estate Advisory and the provision of real estate expertise and project management. On a daily basis you are the sparring partner for our customers and colleagues regarding strategy and transformation issues. As a Senior Manager - Real Estate you are part of the infrastructure & real estate team and you therefore take on both the project management role in complex transformations, and the consulting role in making the sector future-proof. You have a responsible role within various projects at real estate parties, in which you weigh up the interests of different stakeholders and know how to connect the right people.You can present the following elements:
- 8 to 12 years of work experience in real estate consultancy, preferably in a consulting organization or commercial real estate brokerage firm
- You have an academic diploma, preferably with additional training at an accredited management school
- Demonstrable conceptual and/or strategic work experience
- You have basic knowledge of the concepts of smart buildings, data & analytics, ESG, Sustainable finance, property management software and others. This knowledge is supported by (inter)national experts in the specific domains.
- An extensive network within various organizations with large real estate portfolios is a plus
- You have a good command of the Dutch (and/or French) and English language
