Het goed functioneren van de energiemarkt is een van de sleutelelementen in de energietransitie. Elia neemt in het faciliteren van de markt een centrale rol in en is, onder meer, verantwoordelijk voor tal van ondersteunende diensten voor het uitbaten van het netwerk (vb. balanceringsreserves, blackstart, aankoop verliezen, ) en voor het uitvoeren van verschillende taken in de marktmechanismen voor bevoorradingszekerheid (vb. capaciteitsremuneratiemechanisme (CRM))

Binnen het department Energy Markts & Adequacy staat de Market Operations ploeg in voor de feilloze organisatie van de prequalificatie en de veilingen ter aankoop van de producten, de opvolging van het nakomen van de verplichtingen van de marktpartijen, het operationele change management als gevolg van tal van evoluties (vb. Europese samenwerkingen, mogelijk maken dat nieuwe soorten technologieën kunnen deelnemen, ), de accurate reporting met betrekking tot deze activiteiten,Zowel het operationele luik als de noodzakelijke implementaties hiervoor worden vanuit de Market Operations ploeg getrokken.

De Markets Implementation & Operations Manager vervult een belangrijke rol in de Markets Operations ploeg door het samenbrengen van verschillende disciplines. Enerzijds beschikt hij/zij de nodige diepgaande operationele kennis van de producten en de processen en draagt hij/zij bij tot de vlotte operationele werking en identificeert mogelijke verbeteringen. Naargelang het product en/of proces neemt hij/zij ook actief deel aan de operationele activiteiten (vb. prequalificatie, organisatie veiling, ). Anderzijds is hij/zij eveneens de ambassadeur van de operationele werking t.a.v. Business product owners, Digital & Data Product Managers, etc. bij de ontwikkeling en implementatie van evoluties (wijziging aan producten, continue verbetering, ). Hij/zij neemt dan ook actief deel aan projecten in het kader van de marktwerking en productevoluties.

We wensen momenteel de ploeg Markets Operations te versterken met een Markets Implementation & Operations Manager die in de eerste plaats een sterke focus over de implementatie en operations van de adequacy-mechanismen (CRM) wenst te ontwikkelen, maar ook openstaat voor het opnemen van taken met betrekking tot andere producten.

**Implementatie van projecten en productevoluties**:
Je neemt actief deel aan projecten met impact op de producten en processen die binnen je portfolio vallen.

Met oog op technische haalbaarheid en operationele impact ben je betrokken bij designontwikkelingen van producten en challenge je voorstellen. Je vertaalt ze vanuit business-perspectief, in samenwerking met de Digital & Data Product Manager / Business Analyst, verder naar concrete noden tot verandering in IT-tools en procedures.

Je volgt de implementatie in IT-tools op en draagt vanuit business-perspectief bij tot het testen van ontwikkelingen.

Met het oog op een goede integratie in de market operations, ben je de contactpersoon aan operationele zijde en de lead voor het optimaal bewerkstelligen van de verandering in de operationele ploeg. Je bent actief betrokken bij het maken en uitwerken van de keuzes met impact op de operationele werking van de producten.

Opvolging en verbetering van operationele processen

Je verwerft een diepgaande kennis van de operationele processen.

Teneinde de werking ervan te verbeteren, volg je de processen en tools gelinkt aan de operationele taken en de producten op en identificeer je nuttige verbeterpunten en feedback.

Je treedt op als interne contactpersoon met betrekking tot de operationele werking van producten en processen, bvb. bij vragen van klanten, de regulator, de productarchitect, etc of bij eventuele incidenten tijdens de operationele werking.

Je neemt een belangrijke rol op als Change agent en verzorgt de nodige communicatie naar de operationele ploeg zodat de wijzigingen volgend uit productevoluties of verbeteringstrajecten op een optimale manier worden opgenomen.

Je gebruikt je kennis vanuit implementatie om de operationele taken efficiënt te laten verlopen (en vice versa).

Jouw profiel

Je beschikt over een technische masterdiploma of een economisch masterdiploma met een interesse om te werken in een technische omgeving.

Je beschikt over 3 à 5 jaar (relevante) ervaring

Je leert snel, met een proactieve en positieve houding.

Je hebt een grote interesse in de energiesector en begrijpt de globale werking van de energiemarkt.

Je kunt focussen op details zonder het algemene beeld uit het oog te verliezen en levert foutloos werk.

Je beschikt over een sterke, analytische geest en bent in staat complexe processen te beheersen en doorgronden.
