Hoe maak jij mee het verschil?- De corporate dienst Strategy & Legal speelt binnen NMBS een belangrijke rol in de opvolging van de engagementen van de NMBS als publieke dienstverlener in de verschillende kernactiviteiten van NMBS. De stafdienst vervult bovendien een centrale rol in de voorbereiding, opvolging en evaluatie van de strategie van het bedrijf.- Als Data Analyst binnen de dienst Corporate Strategy ondersteun je NMBS bij het ontwikkelen van strategische modellen, met een focus op de analyse en visualisatie van complexe datasets. Je werkt samen met verschillende afdelingen om ervoor te zorgen dat onze modellen op elkaar afgestemd en consistent zijn en je levert input voor strategische beslissingen die NMBS vormgeven.- Wat is jouw rol bij NMBS ?- Als Data Analyst heb je de volgende taken en verantwoordelijkheden:
- Analyseren en interpreteren van multivariate datasets om strategische inzichten te bieden.
- Uitvoeren van geografische en ruimtelijke data-analyses en ondersteunen van transportanalyses.
- Ontwikkelen van visualisaties en rapportages in tools zoals Power BI om resultaten helder en toegankelijk te presenteren.
- Uitvoeren van analyses in Visum of bereidheid om dit softwarepakket onder de knie te krijgen.
- Samenwerken met andere data-analisten en data-engineers in het bedrijf om datakwaliteit te waarborgen en coherentie te behouden in het gebruik van datasets over afdelingen heen.
- Waarom is deze job iets voor jou ?- Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in een relevante richting (bijvoorbeeld data-analyse, statistiek, geografie, economie)
- EN- Je hebt een eerste werkervaring (min 2 jaar) als data-analyst
- Daarnaast beschikt je over volgende competenties:
- Probleemoplossend, teamgericht, en bereid om transversale samenwerking binnen de NMBS te ondersteunen. Je kan zich aanpassen in functie van de noden van het project en de betrokken interne stakeholders;
- Kennis van multivariate analysetechnieken en ervaring met het beheren en analyseren van geografische data;
- Je hebt een goede kennis van Python;
- Bij voorkeur kennis van transportmodellering en vertrouwd met Visum of bereid om deze kennis te verwerven;
- Ervaring met datavisualisatie en -analyse tools zoals Power BI;
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om complexe data-inzichten helder te verwoorden;
- Je bent creatief en probleemoplossend gericht;
- Je bent leergierig en bent gemotiveerd om de verschillende activiteiten van NMBS te ontdekken.
