**Context**:
Within our finance department, we are currently looking for an Operations Procurement Officer, who will be responsible for leading and driving the operational procurement practices through the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the Performance Management team.
**Your Position**:
As Operations Procurement Officer, you will:
- Drive improvement in procurement operations through optimized user compliance, process performance, contracts and customer satisfaction
- Work closely with sourcing, accounts payable & administration colleagues
- Rationalize vendor management and participate in the legal review and renegotiation of service providers
- Collect actual data and forecasts, review resource consumptions and financial performance of contracts
- Maintain contract management tools for delivery against contracts and lead selected procurement categories for spend optimization
- Monitor SLA’s, contract procedures and milestones and compile progress reports and presentations for contracts and assist in request management
- Communicate with external partners during the various phases of contract execution and follow up on Purchase Orders to get supplier confirmations and limit delay
- Take care of the budget review process and alignment with the business
- Maintain the Global Procurement Intranet Site
- Report on savings and procurement spend
- Update procurement related policies (e.g. travel policy) and support implementation
**Your Profile**:
- University Degree in a relevant field is highly desirable
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management
- Excellent English writing, speaking and presentation skills
- The ability to analyze complex information and generate reports
- Organized, methodical, team player and able to prioritize workload
- Highly accurate and attentive to detail
- Experience with negotiation
- Strong interpersonal skills and a drive to deliver top quality
