**(CUSTOMER) DATA OFFICER**

We are looking for an enthusiastic **Data Officer **to **join our data team** in offering support to the rest of the organisation around (customer) data related problems, issues, and optimalisations.
**Your mission**
- Follow up on data related requests (problems, issues, or improvements) to ensure a fast, efficient, and customer-focused service to your end users.
- Ensure daily data quality control and consistency checks in our databases and data flows.
- Proactively think of ways to improve and/or automate data processes & visualization.
- Focus on data management to ensure data quality and to report & translate existing data into valuable business insights.
- Analyse and provide reports on the available data to support the different decision-making processes at Vlerick.
- Participate in data related projects, building the bridge between the business needs and the technical implementation.
**You**
- Have a passion for data and data quality.
- Have a strong customer and result-oriented mindset.
- Preferably have a first professional experience in a similar role.
- Are familiar with MS Excel, bonus points for knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI and/or MS Dynamics.
- Like working at the intersection of technology and business.
- Are a logical and analytical thinker.
- Are very fluent in English and have an excellent communication style.
- Can be based on our campus in Ghent, Leuven, or Brussels in combination with your home office and are flexible to join the team in Ghent on a regular basis;.
