This job in a nutshell:
To strengthen the Learning & Development team (BDO Academy), we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and accurate Talent Development Manager.
The BDO Academy team provides support and training for more than 900 colleagues. You will join a team of 6 employees where entrepreneurship and drive are central. In addition, you will also be part of the full HR team consisting of 25 people and can also make use of the in-house knowledge of our business colleagues.
What will you be doing?:
- You are responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the vision and strategy within the learning and development team in consultation with HR and the internal clients
- You will be responsible for monitoring the daily operation of the learning and development department
- You define and lead key projects within the learning and development department
- You are the point of contact for internal clients regarding all questions related to the learning and development department
- You will work closely with the Exco team and the HR director
- You will manage a team of three employees
- You will be an internal promoter and representative of the BDO Academy.
What do you bring to the table?:
- You have a first experience as an L&D manager and several years of experience within L&D (development of training plans, courses and programmes and evaluation of their quality)
- You are an enthusiastic people manager
- You are a strategic thinker and can execute a vision pragmatically
- You can develop, analyse and evaluate the assessment of competencies, pedagogical plans, training programmes and courses in all forms (ILT, E-learning)
- You have excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint;
- You are professionally trilingual (NL/FR/EN)
- You are someone who dares to think critically, who loves optimising and making all kinds of processes, documents and communications more efficient and who can bring structure to the work yourself;
- You possess strong motivation with a service-oriented and enthusiastic personality.
