In Sint-Truiden Tenneco manufactures Monroe suspension solutions for automotive customers like Volvo Group, Daimler, VW Group, JLR and other OEMs as well as intercompany components. The plant that occupies a unique position within the Tenneco Group thanks to its wide variety of complex manufacturing processes employs some 700 blue collar and 100 white collar employees.

To support their further growth and professionalization of the plant in Sint-Truiden, we’re looking for a motivated

**Functie**:

- Is responsible for coordinating operations within the plant, creating and attaining plant goals, for positively representing the company at corporate meetings, for maintaining union relations and making sure the plant is a safe and clean environment for workers
- Ensures and improves the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the plant’s operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies
- Coordinates, manages and monitors the working of various departments in the organization
- Implements strategies and action plans to support strategic initiatives
- Manages the team to initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and capital
- Supervises the management team
- Has weekly meetings with the union representatives
- Coordinates the different plant departments (planning, production, logistics,) to assure good safety conditions respecting the EHS procedures, the company standards and norms in force and makes people carefully respect them
- Regularly monitors plant EHS performance, compliance level with EHS standards and procedures. Reviews identified corrective actions and provides resources to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Reports to the Executive Operations Director

**Functie eisen**:
**Change manager with strong business acumen**
- Master Civil/Industrial Engineering (electro)mechanics
- At least 10 years of experience in a managerial position in a production environment
- Technical insight and strong analytical skills
- Clear vision on production and proven experience with industrial unions
- Strong personality with a clear business vision and approach
- Decision making skills and critical thinking and problem solving skills

- Fluent in English
