At the Whiteam we are seeking a Senior Interface Designer to join our team in Brussels and work with the European Commission.

**Location**:Brussels

**Service Delivery Mode**:Near site role (the consultant must be located within two hours drive from the EC offices in Brussels)

**Full-time and long term**

**DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS**

**The following tasks will be requested to the external service provider**:

- User Experience (UX) analysis, including interaction workflows and navigation;
- Translation of business requirements into an UI solution;
- Brainstorming to research, sketches, prototypes, user tests;
- Identify key usability problems and provide recommendations on how to solve them;
- Visual prototyping of UI solutions such as designing (low
- and high-fidelity) wireframes, mock-ups and story boards which lead to an intuitive user experience;
- Creation of graphical elements including illustrations, visuals, icons etc.
- Contribution to test scenarios and test result analysis regarding the UI components, covering the responsive behaviour.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**

**Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks**:

- Excellent knowledge of ECL and eUI framework;
- Ability to deliver efficiently and fast;
- Ability to give presentations of the UI proposals and to convince the audience;
- Ability to cope with changes following business feedback;
- Very good communication skills with technical audiences;

**SPECIFIC EXPERTISE**

**Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks**:

- Knowledge of wireframing and interactive prototyping with Figma;
- Knowledge of design and graphical tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar;
- Knowledge of Collaborative tools like Teams and Jira.
- Knowledge of UX design best practices, including user interface ergonomics, knowledge of responsive design and accessibility;
- Knowledge of user testing through all stages of a project, including different techniques (e.g. eye tracking, dynamic/static verification) and methods of testing (e.g. remote usability testing, A/B testing, hallway testing, post release testing);
- Knowledge in cross-browser compatibility and testing;
- Knowledge of web ergonomics, usability and accessibility Knowledge of fundamental visual and typographic design disciplines and principles;
