Abbott Medical in Belgium is currently looking for a

**National Sales Manager (M/F/d) Neuromodulation**:
based in Belgium

In this leading role you are responsible for managing the direct and indirect sales force within Belgium for Neuromodulation Division to ensure the achievement of predetermined sales and opex goals and for the development of the sales and professional skills of the sales force in order to maximise revenues and profitable growth.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop the sales strategies and tactics most appropriate and effective for regional or country markets in order to achieve approved sales goals and maximize market penetration.
- Oversee the servicing of key accounts and work with the sales force to convert leading competitive accounts and maintain those accounts we are already managing.
- Monitor sales expenses and variable selling costs in order to maximize the profit margins on all products sold.
- Produce concise and accurate written monthly report of the sales activity, with specific emphasis on future actions and resources involved
- Actively participate in the preparation of the annual plan, targeting accounts and market reviews
- Communicate or recommend new product ideas, competitive findings, any product enhancements, identified or uncovered by the sales force, to ensure that future markets are being pursued and opportunities for expansion and growth are realized.
- Build and lead a high performance organization to deliver operating plans by hiring, training, coaching and developing direct reports, making best use of Abbott resources.
- Support, focus and coordinate direct and indirect sales force in realizing individual territory objectives and in further developing individual skills sets; setting goals for each agent and effectively monitoring progress.
- Maintain all contacts and relationships with customers, professionals within the medical community, or competitors, as appropriate, to maximize Abbott Medical Belgium NV’s exposure within its industries and awareness of all industry information.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in Business, Health or Engineering Science
- 10 years of relevant Sales/Marketing management experience within the Medical Device industry
- Good understanding of market dynamics, regulations and reimbursement within the Belgian healthcare segment
- Significant experience in Neuromodulation or neuro business is preferred
- Ability to deal with top level KOL (neurosurgeons, neurologists, pain physicians)
- Strong sales and people management skills
- Financial acumen and strong customer orientation
- Turnaround & change management experience is preferred
- Fluent in English, Dutch and French
