**Position Overview**
Based at our_ _Global Headquarters in Brussels, in order to further strengthen our Global Procurement team we are currently seeking an:
**Group Procurement Category Manager Indirect**
(Groot-Bijgaarden, Belgium)
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the charge in championing our category management process and driving innovation in supplier relationships.
- Develop and execute strategies that maximize our leverage with suppliers while aligning with our business objectives.
- Be the driving force behind a team of four individuals, optimizing sourcing and operational activities to ensure success.
- Prepare and implement communication plans, foster consensus within multifunctional teams, and ensure alignment with key stakeholders.
- Promote fair and ethical supplier relationships, minimize risk, and define strategies for effective vendor relationships.
- Utilize your market knowledge to develop and execute commodity cover strategies, negotiate agreements, and manage risks effectively.
- Align procurement objectives with our organizational goals and understand how they contribute to our business strategy.
- Drive savings, working capital improvements, and optimize profit margins through proactive analysis and collaboration with internal teams.
**What are we looking for?**
- You hold a Master's degree in Business/Economics or an equivalent qualification.
- You have demonstrated a successful track record with over 7 years of experience in procuring Indirect goods & services.
- You are experienced in navigating an international environment and you possess a strong cultural awareness and a background in promoting diversity.
- You are fluent in English, both written and verbal, enabling seamless communication across borders.
- You are known for your ability to innovate and find creative solutions to business challenges.
- You can develop and share strategic business insights, translating them into actionable solutions.
- You are adept at promoting our company culture and fostering connections within the wider organization.
