Our client is located in the Antwerp area.
As Head of Corporate Consolidation, you deliver the company's consolidated financial statements and report directly to the CFO.
Job content
- You are responsible for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements of the Offset company (comprised of +40 entities world-wide).
- You provide and maintain your personal knowledge of various IFRS standards.
- You prepare the Annual Financial Report.
- You maintain the relationship with the auditor and the corporate team.
- You analyse and comment on evolutions in the company's financial reporting.
- You help determine the IFRS-based accounting policies and review them with the auditor and the Corporate team.
- You are the point of contact for clarifying the accounting rules and keep tabs on the evolutions in the organization's structure and areas of activity.
The requested qualifications for this job include:
- You have a Master's degree in finance or economics.
- You have at least 5 years' experience in financial controlling and/or consolidation.
- You have knowledge of preparing a consolidated balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, in accordance with IFRS.
- You work fluently with MS Office, in particular with Excel.
- Knowledge of consolidation software (preferably Tagetik) is key, knowledge of FCPM (Financial Corporate Performance Management) is a plus.
- You have excellent analytical skills and enjoy complex themes.
- You know how to present financial insights to Management in a structured way.
- You dare to take initiative and act proactively.
- You are flexible and respect deadlines.
- You have integrity, are highly conscientious and take responsibility.
you are fluent in English and Dutch.
