**Omschrijving**:
As a reference member, we are looking for an experienced UX Researcher and Designer (min. medior).
The client is digitizing processes for operators in the maintenance of our infrastructure. A good UX is crucial on these tools to guarantee the safety of people on the ground.
The client is implementing the Capacity Remuneration Mechanism (CRM). The introduction of a capacity remuneration mechanism for the Belgian market is part of the federal government’s energy strategy, which lays out a number of new measures designed to guarantee Belgium’s security of supply in the long term. The UX designer will ensure that the tool is easy to use for market parties and The client internal staff.
The UX researcher will conduct the necessary user research to gather user needs, and all the necessary activity to design a user-centric solution. The end-delivery of this project is a high-fidelity interactive prototype of a possible solution, evaluated by users.
Service description
Non-exhaustive list of tasks:
Lead UX research activities
Prepare and animate workshops on functional framing, ideation and co-design with business and users, or even on an ad hoc basis for user tests and focus groups
Collect user needs and feedback throughout the project by implementing appropriate research methods (on-site observations, interviews, user tests, surveys, literature, etc.)
Create personas through user research and data
Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success via measurable criteria
Identify business processes and use cases, define, and formalize user journeys or make recommendations for improvement to existing journeys
Create storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Using our Figma design system, realize wireframes and produce clickable functional prototypes with mock data
Present ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders
Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing extra tasks as needed
**Profiel**
Ability to create wireframes in Figma and user flows
Formal qualification (master degree, certification ) in UX is valued
5 years’ experience in design thinking in context of agile projects
5 years’ experience of qualitative and quantitative research methods
3 years’ experience with UX design for complex workflows
3 years’ experience with interaction design and information architecture
Attention to details and works delivered in high standard
Proficient in design software (Figma) as well as presentation software (PowerPoint, Miro)
Experiences in UI designs for multiple thin or thick clients (responsive Web, mobile, desktop) and ability to use a design system in Figma is a plus

Language skill: fluent French and Dutch are mandatory (to interact with users and conduct interviews and tests for instance). Good proficiency in English for communication within the The client Group. German is a plus.
