**The Opportunity**:
An exciting opportunity to join Brunswick Group to help clients navigate the complex policy and stakeholder environment in the dynamic Healthcare and Life Sciences ecosystem, supporting the Brussels Healthcare and Life Sciences team design strategies that place patient care and innovation at the heart of the conversation.

Based in Brussels, you will join our team of healthcare experts and work alongside colleagues with strong expertise in public affairs, communications, crisis management and digital.

Whether it is helping innovative biotech companies tell a compelling story to a European audience or advising global life sciences organisations navigate the complex European regulatory landscape, you will have the opportunity to work in a team that helps clients articulate their value, deliver their message with impact, and build and maintain trusting relationships with stakeholders.

We are looking for a motivated team player with a demonstrated interest in and knowledge of the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector and its stakeholders, including regulatory, governmental, and market audiences, who will deliver high quality work and provide strong support to our team.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Client Contribution & Handling
- Provide high quality research and analysis on EU policy developments, media coverage, relevant trends and events
- Draft, proofread and edit agendas, briefing notes, action reports, press releases, memos, presentations and other documents created for clients; exhibit exemplary attention to detail
- Effectively handle the logistics around policy and media events, meetings and other client events
- Remain well-informed on all relevant sector / client policy developments by monitoring and sharing coverage

Communication
- Write thoughtful, well-structured content; consider audience in style and tone of communications
- Express a point of view in a thoughtful manner; analyze and distil complex information
- Exhibit discretion with sensitive and confidential information
- Use good judgment in deciding what information should be shared and what should not

Teams & Community
- Actively support account teams in the implementation of day-to-day tasks and activities
- Keep colleagues informed of activity and project status; develop action plans/meeting notes as appropriate
- Willingly assume and actively pursue additional responsibility and role on the team; take initiative
- Participate and contribute to internal activities such as marketing

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- **1-3 years of relevant work experience** in EU public affairs, communications and/or policy making; experience of working in the EU institutions is considered an asset
- Good understanding of the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector, how it works as well as of the policy environment in which our clients and stakeholders operate
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
- A strong verbal communicator with high EQ levels and an engaging presentation style
- Energetic team player with strong self-motivation
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, with strong problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and digital media tools
