**Our story**:
**All about the role**:
As Courier Coordinator, you’ll be the key contact for our Couriers in the City of Liege.

You will be responsible for the Contracts, Training, Communication and management of Couriers in the City of Liege. This WIll also include emphasis of monitoring KPIs and continuously looking for ways to improve our performance and efficiency. You will need to monitor the KPIs of the individual Couriers in your team and look for ways to encourage and motivate them.

Working with different departments such as HR, Planning and Recruiting you will need to be a seamless communicator verbally and written. The Majority of inter departmental communications are in English. Communication to your Courier Team, Colleagues, Manager and other Departement are the key to success.

A focus on Health and Safety Protocols and ensuring all procedures are in place and up to date will be of the upmost importance.

You will be part of a bigger Wallonian Team and will endevour to work on projects, operations and support with other Coordinators in the region.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Coordinating local operations
- Working with Senior Coordinator ensure that courier equipment is ordered, stored, handled, dispatched safely, timely and efficiently.
- Ensure shifts run optimally, coordinate operations (opening and closing of shits) and resolve operational issues
- Working with Senior Coordinator in Checking state of Vehicles and equipment and coordinating repairs of broken equipment with external parties.
- Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are followed and implemented.
- Coach, train, motivate and supervise a team, typically existing of 50-100 drivers and driver captains, by managing performance reviews and evaluating dashboards

Work Closely with Other Teams and Departments
- Coordinating with Planning Team and COM to ensure smooth Running of Operations.
- Operate as a linking pin between drivers, driver captains and City Operations Manager(s), including motivating and correcting driver (behaviour)
- Provide City Operations Manager and/or business planners with input for shift planning
- Working Closely with recruiting to ensure all deadlines are met on new recruit Couriers are trained in correctly.
- Communicate and work with HR Courier Support to ensure all processes are followed correctly and our Couriers are taken care of.

Support Team when necessary
- Step up and Take responsibilities of Colleugues if necessary during sickness or absences.
- Support Supervision of Remote cities of Mons and Namur when needed
- Be Proactive and take initiatives to create projects and improve processes with the correct communication to manager.

**Can you deliver**:

- At least 1 years of experience in a similar role including within Hospitality, Entertainment, Project management, Supply Chain or Food Delivery Services.
- Third Level Education is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite and ability to learn new IT systems quickly.
- Leadership, Management, Team Building, Conflict Resolution, Time Management and Meeting Deadlines are all competencies needed for this role.
- Fluent French and Basic Working Level of English Reading, Writing and Speaking is neccesary.
