We are looking for an **EMEA Health, Safety, and Security Manager** who will report directly to the Director, Health, Safety and Security.
The main duties of the EMEA Health, Safety, and Security Manager include responsibilities for developing, evaluating, and implementing Health & Safety and Security programs and procedures to ensure ENGIE Impact’s compliance with all applicable codes, standards, regulations, and requirements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Embed and reinforce “No Life at Risk” culture attributes in all aspects of our business, including decision-making processes, employee experience, and communications.
- Assist in leading the operational safety program and determine best practices for implementing across a diverse portfolio.
- Oversee safety volunteer teams including the establishment of annual goals, communications, and trainings.
- Support ISO certification process for Health and Safety.
- Supervise the evaluation of safety initiatives against industry standards and internal metrics; analyze results and develop action plans to ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide proper and timely investigation and reporting of safety and health associated incidents. Ensure determination of root cause and implementation of appropriate corrective action including development and use of appropriate training, lessons learned, or other communications.
- Oversee, develop, train, and manage on International SOS Platform.
- Work with broader Facilities team to ensure vendor safety and compliance with all applicable safety and security protocols.
- Will interact with the following internal and external parties on a regular basis:
- INTERNAL: ENGIE Business Unit Facilities and Safety leaders (global); ENGIE Impact C-Suite; Human Resources and Internal Communications teams; Safety Leads and Team volunteers across all ENGIE Impact’s sites; Facilities and site leadership teams; and employee groups affected by both Safety and Facility decisions.

**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or related field.
- Professional certification such as Safety Management Specialist (SMS) preferred.
- May accept a combination of relevant experience in lieu of educational requirements.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related Safety Program experience.
- Minimum of 5 years corporate safety experience with exceptional judgment and strong interpersonal skills to be confident, comfortable, and effective in dealing with global employees; senior management, and executive team driving consensus and results.
- Experience with multi-site organizations preferred.
**Skills/Abilities**:
- Ability to identify and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the EMEA and UK regions.
- Knowledge of EMEA and UK Health and Safety Laws and Regulations.
- Basic understanding of physical security protocol.
- Ability to build strong relationships and gain trust and consensus; must be adept at influencing and building credibility in cross-functional, global environments.
- Ability to “think outside the box” and provide creative and agile solutions that unify best practices and business needs in a scalable, sustainable approach.
