**Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels** is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. More than a 100 airlines, lessors, private aircraft operators and MRO partners have entrusted their engines to our company. We employ over 200 highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic employees.

Our Operations department is currently looking for an **Operations Planning Officer.**

As Operations Planning Officer you will be responsible for the daily and weekly operations planning, optimizing the TAT and maintaining the actual standards. You will also follow up on the planning execution and making adjustments in order to achieve the OTD and TAT targets and develop performance standards for our maintenance activities.

**Your role**:

- **Plan the workshop activities**, in line with the priorities discussed with the Operations Process Manager, Completion Manager and the Accounts department in order to minimize the TAT.
- **Communicate the planning** towards the Shift Managers and the Team Leaders.
- **Follow up** on the planning execution and **give feedback** to the Operation Process Manager, Shifts Managers and Team Leaders in order to be able to achieve the targets.
- **Escalate the main problems** to the Operations Process Manager.
- If necessary, participate in group planning meetings.
- **Reporting of daily operational performance** towards the Operations Process Manager and the Shifts Managers.
- **Prioritize in consultation** with the Operations Process Manager.
- **Participate** in continuous improvement **projects**.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor degree, or similar by experience
- Good language skills (Dutch, French, English)
- Technical background with good engine knowledge
- General knowledge of quality systems
- Advanced IT skills (advanced Excel and Power BI)
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Open to change, result driven and customer oriented
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
