We are seeking a dynamic Product Strategist with robust background within the construction industry who demonstrates a deep understanding of both current and emerging market trends in off-site construction. In today’s rapidly evolving world, having a strong product strategy is essential to stay competitive and meet customers’ needs. This is where you come in.
As a versatile and vital team member, you will leverage creativity, analytical skills, and market understanding to develop successful product roadmaps that align with our business objectives cross division (Flooring, Panels, Insulation). This is an unique opportunity which gives you the chance to be empowered and mentored by the President of Panels, Veronique Hoflack.
Your job responsibilities include:
**Defining the Commercial Strategy, Product/Systems Strategy, and Roadmap**:

- Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager to align on strategic goals.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the current product portfolio and manage the product lifecycle.
- Analyse sales data and margins to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Explore client systems to find cost-effective solutions for maintaining fire certification standards.
- Set long-term goals and priorities for the product category.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

**Development and Marketing of New Products and Existing Products**:

- Define product specifications and conduct cost/benefit analyses to ensure sound investment decisions.
- Manage the entire stage gate process from concept to launch.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop the business case, product specifications, testing protocols, and value propositions.
- Monitor product development progress in collaboration with R&D, making necessary adjustments.
- Oversee all product content and digital assets, ensuring high-quality visualization and presentation across online platforms.

**Close Cooperation with R&D, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality Teams cross division**:

- Work closely with these teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery.

**Build-Up Market & Competitive Intelligence**:

- Stay updated on market trends and the modular/off-site construction industry.
- Understand the materials currently used in the market and the business models of existing suppliers.
- Develop a comprehensive value proposition for current suppliers.

**Training of Sales People**:

- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to provide technical training to the sales team.
