With over 1,500 products, Specialty Polymers offers the widest range of high performance polymers in the world, allowing tailor-made solutions such as pushing the limits of metal replacement in the electronics, automotive, aircraft, and healthcare industries. The GBU has unparalleled expertise in three technologies: aromatic polymers, high barrier polymers, fluoropolymers.

**Job Overview and Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities include:

- Ensure sales and development objectives are met, forecasted & aligned w. financial objectives, such as sales and contribution margin and timely payment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers through proactive communication and regular visits to discuss commercial opportunities
- Identify, investigate and follow up on qualified leads and develop business for potential customers in key market segments in line with Marketing plans and insights-
- Develop, negotiate and monitor contracts and pricing strategy for new and existing business opportunities
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other internal departments to assure customer requests/demands are addressed and resolved
- Work on transversal team tasks or strategic projects as requested

**Education and Experience**:

- BA or BS degree in a related technical field (engineering, chemistry, material science, etc.). MBA a plus**Skills**:

- Strong marketing and sales in a specialty polymer environment preferred
- Ability to educate customers/colleagues both on the technical and commercial side, and communicate/present well in a succinct and compelling way
- Excellent initiative, autonomy and enthusiasm
- Demonstrated track record of successful sales/negotiations, key account management/business development and internal/external relationships at multiple levels within the organization.
- Resilience in light of fast-paced and demanding environment and proven ability to multi-task and manage many competing priorities
- Strong communications skills (written, oral and presentation)
- Strong ability to influence and forge strong relationships with impact at any level in the customer organization or in the GBU
- Experience and ability to work in a global matrix
- Ability to travel approximately 30% including some international travel
- Fluent in English, German and/or French is a plus
