**Quality Operations Manager**
The Function:
As a Quality Operations Manager, you will ensure excellent quality performance in our labs by managing day-to-day activities, supervising direct reports, and proposing new techniques and equipment for material analysis.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines, initiate and update SOPs, host audits, and act as Subject Matter Expert;
- Ascertain the conformity and quality of tests within predefined lead times and validate analysts’ results;
- Keep track of and sustain performance and quality metrics, and propose new or adapted techniques and equipment for the analysis of materials;
- Increase efficiency and output by improving working methodology and maximizing available resources;
- Supervise, support, coach and motivate direct reports, schedule day-to-day planning, and propose new personnel requests.
Impact and Problem Solving:
You will have authority to approve materials and propose rejection of any material which does not comply with relevant specifications.
The Quality Operations Manager will manage and remediate problems concerning the tasks and performance of the analysts. The issues related to this function will be operational and conceptual tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in a Scientific field, or equivalent by experience;
- 5 years of relevant experience in a technical laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques such as Chromotography;
- Proven Leadership track;
- Proficient in both Dutch and English;
- Willing to travel;
- Open to work in shifts.
