Als Head of Quantitative Risk Management ben je de drijvende kracht achter de risicostrategie van de onderneming.

Je belangrijkste rol is het aansturen van een team van 9 mensen en hen zelfstandig de volgende taken laten uitvoeren, waarvan de resultaten voorgesteld worden aan de directrice Risk Management:

- beoordelen van zowel de solvabiliteit van de onderneming als van de risico's die eigen zijn aan Ethias (2e pijler van SII),
- analyseren van de prestatie vanuit het oogpunt van rendement/risico van de verschillende verzekerings
- en beleggingsproducten en toezien op de strikte naleving van de risicobereidheid die door de organen gevalideerd is,
- ontwikkelen van het controlesysteem van Risk Management en in het bijzonder tweedelijnscontroles uitvoeren op de beleggings
- en ALM-activiteiten.

Maar dat is niet alles...

Met het team Quantitative Risk Management sta je in voor de volgende taken:

- berekenen van het vereiste reglementaire kapitaal om het hoofd te bieden aan de marktrisico's (rentevoeten, aandelen...) en de verzekeringsrisico's (Leven, Niet-Leven) volgens de Solvency II-specificaties.
- instaan voor de ontwikkeling van de berekeningsmodellen van de SCR’s.
- voorbereiden van de solvabiliteitsverslagen voor de toezichthouders (NBB, EIOPA en directiecomité).
- uitvoeren van de stresstests voor de reglementaire solvabiliteit.
- toewijzen van het kapitaal dat nodig is voor de technische en financiële risico's die door elk van onze activiteiten worden gegenereerd, en hun performantie voor het duo “rendement/risico” analyseren.
- evalueren van de risico-elementen die eigen zijn aan Ethias en die onderworpen kunnen zijn aan een impactmeting op de solvabiliteitsvereiste op het niveau van pijler 2 van SII.
- beoordelen van de afstemming van de Solvency II-standaardformule op het risicoprofiel van onze portefeuilles.
- deelnemen aan de uitvoering van de ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assesment), aan het bepalen van de bijbehorende stresstests en aan het hernieuwingsproces van het jaarlijks herverzekeringsplan.
- antwoorden op specifieke vragen van de regulator.
- analyseren van de beleggingsvoorstellen in financiële producten “non plain vanilla”, van dossiers voor de aanmaak van nieuwe producten met betrekking tot de passiva en van de mogelijkheid om een hedgingstrategie op te zetten in Underwriting en op financieel vlak.

En ten slotte...

Je vertegenwoordigt de onderneming in de comités voor beheer van de activa en passiva (ALCO) en in het Insurance-Reinsurance Committee (IRC).

**Profiel**
- Je hebt een universitair diploma in een kwantitatieve richting: actuaris, master in wiskunde of in beheer en minstens 8 jaar ervaring in verzekeringen
- Je hebt een goede kennis van financiële producten en markten en van verzekeringsproducten of je bent bereid die kennis te verwerven
- Je kunt complexe wiskundige modellen begrijpen
- Je kunt duidelijke en volledige rapporten opstellen voor het management, inclusief het directiecomité
- Je bent een change leader en schenkt veel aandacht aan changemanagement, aan de communicatie van deze veranderingen en aan de uitwisseling met de betrokken partijen
- Je moedigt initiatieven aan en weet kennisontwikkeling bij je medewerkers te stimuleren zodat ze kunnen groeien in hun functie
- Je communiceert op een heldere, efficiënte en constructieve manier
- Je staat open voor permanente vorming
- Je bent resultaat
