**Department Info**:
The Terumo EMEA Supply Chain department groups Supply Chain Planning, EDC Warehousing, Transport as well as EMEA Customer Service building a cross-functional, end-to-end global partnership.
**Job Summary**:
As part of the Terumo SCP team, the main responsibility of the Supply Planner is to support the supply chain process and to secure the product availability.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Inventory optimization in accordance to business strategy
- Ensure that appropriate supplies and stock levels are maintained to meet customer service levels, both within cost restrains and consistent with suppliers’ lead time
- Build relationship with Sales/Marketing/Production/Supplier (local, externally) in order to assure the availability of the finished products for distribution towards the customers
- Collaborate with Customer Service department regarding customer needs and supply availability
- Identify, analyse and report potential supply & inventory issues, and to react properly
2. Align to S&OP process
- Be a key contributor in the total S&OP process
- Help the senior supply planner in preparation of the supply review meeting and follow-up actions
3. Support in projects
- Provide the necessary support in preparation and testing of special projects related to continuous improvement
**Profile Description**:
- A Bachelor degree or Master degree in Logistics - Warehousing - Inventory Management, Working experience min. 2 years
- Familiar with Microsoft Office in general, and willing to work with these and other software (SAP)
- Analytical skills
- Team player, able to work independently regarding the job context
- Flexible
- Stress tolerant
- Good communicator with different stakeholders
- Previous experience in supply chain management, in planning systems, in logistics activities is an asset
- Very good working knowledge of English (written and spoken)
