**Work environment**:
The Global Power Business Area is responsible for all the engineering activities related to the development and realization of projects in the following fields:

- Decarbonization/ green fuels (Hydrogen, Ammonia, e-methanol, carbon capture);
- Classical gas (LNG and pipelines);
- RES, wind and PV on-shore and offshore;
- Transmission and Distribution of Electricity.

These projects go from the pre-feasibility studies up to final commissioning of the installations.
Within the Global Power Business Area, the H2, Decarbonization & Industries Product team is in charge to commercialize and deliver projects in the field of decarbonization via green fuels such as green Hydrogen, green Ammonia, e-methanol as well carbon capture solutions.
The activities in these fields are mainly related to
- (Pre-)Feasibility and Basic Design;
- Front End Engineering Design;
- Owner’s Engineer;
- Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM);
- Site supervision, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

The concerned contracts could cover the following geographical areas: Europe, Africa, Middle East, Latin America or Asia.

**Mission**:
As a Project Manager in the H2, Decarbonization & Industries team, you will be responsible to manage the development and implementation phases of decarbonization projects, including (pre-)feasibility, basic design/ FEED, design review and/or construction projects. The projects you will be leading could be located in Europe or any other locations in the world; the projects are typically complex involving different stakeholders of different backgrounds and companies, covering different disciplines from process, mechanical, equipment, electrical to permitting, safety etc.

Your function
- Manage all aspects of projects to ensure good execution to meet the objectives (external and internal) within the timeline and budget.
- As a project manager, you are responsible to comply to Tractebel’s project management requirements from administrative, organization, financial, etc. perspective. Liaise and collaborate with other supporting Tractebel entities (Sales, Procurement, Project Control, etc.) to ensure all project management requirements (contracting, invoicing, archiving etc.) are fulfilled.
- You will act as the key interface (Point of Contact) for the project towards the client (and relevant stakeholders), providing necessary progress and results reporting as agreed, efficiently, effectively and of good quality. You are responsible to ensure client’s satisfaction, you are forward-thinking and able to anticipate and identify client’s needs and come up with tailor-made solution.
- Coordinate and manage work and resource planning of your project team members (including subcontractors or partners), ensuring smooth execution of the project activities. Closely liaise with the team members and their managers in terms of resource prioritization.
- Be responsible to promote and foster positive involvement of the team members including ensuring good bidirectional communications between you and the team members, and among the team members.
- Provide the necessary reporting internally to the Product Manager, and relevant management teams in Tractebel.
- Supports Product Manager, Sales and Business Development in acquiring new contracts for Tractebel. This includes, among others, supports in preparing technical methodology and estimation of budgets for proposals for new assignments, and assisting in offer negotiations. You are expected to be able to develop a strategy to offer customized services to answer client’s needs that will position Tractebel as preferred consultant or engineering firms.
- As part of the H2, Decarbonization and Industries, you will look for continuous improvement in all processes and methodologies.

**Profile**:

- Master in engineering or a master of science in engineering (or equivalent by proven experiences).
- 5 years in project management/ coordination experience.
- You have excellent abilities to manage, organize and coordinate large multi-disciplinary complex projects with many stakeholders of different backgrounds.
- Experience in an international environment is a strong asset.
- You have an acute sense of responsibility with respect to project contractual delivery, project financials, project planning and knowledge sharing with colleagues.
- You have an excellent attitude to work as a team but are equivalently autonomous.
- You have a systematic analytical approach.
