**Role Overview**

**We are looking for**:

- Join our global communication team at this exciting moment of continuous transformation. We are changing how we communicate with customers, bringing attention to innovation & sustainability, which is at the heart of Solvay’s growth platform's strategy. We are looking for an energetic communications professional with strong digital and project management skills, who has a passion for writing and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to complete our team.
- This person will support strategic marketing communications initiatives that advance the positioning and business interests of Solvay’s growth platform businesses (team of 3 people inside marketing communication team).
- Solvay’s growth platforms are all designed to accelerate the development of innovative and sustainable solutions to meet current and future market needs. They are driven by key business trends, and help us and our stakeholders to advance our sustainability goals, for the benefit of generations to come
- Our 4 strategic growth platforms focused on battery materials, thermoplastic composites and green hydrogen drive innovation to support the energy transition. They answer market needs driven by high-priority business trends, like electrification and lightweighting. Our materials are key enablers in developing the sustainable mobility solutions of the future and our diverse portfolio includes technologies at different stages of development, in alignment with industry roadmaps.We also have fourth growth platform, focused on Renewable Materials and Biotechnology. The platform aims to meet growing demand for sustainable solutions by increasing the share of renewable carbon in Solvay’s product offering and developing new business opportunities enabled by biotechnology.

**We count on you for**:

- Supports the Growth Platform Marketing Communications team in developing marketing and communication plans, executes the initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Prepare, coordinate and follow up events, trade shows, on/offline external campaigns
- Support the execution of digital marketing initiatives
- During a typical week as the Communication officer, you will:

- Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects autonomously
- Work with our business teams to design, implement and measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns focused on our products and solutions by leveraging both offline and digital channels
- Work with our internal experts and agency partners to ensure digital campaigns are configured correctly to support lead tracking
- Support brand development projects, from ideation to implementation
- Plan events, from the goal-setting phase through execution and ROI analysis
- Develop campaign performance reports. This person will work with our agency partners to translate information into insights, and insights into actionable optimizations in order to continuously improve our campaigns and overall effectiveness.
