**ROLE**
- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Respond to user feedback and client feedback to improve the creative work in future iterations
**PROFILE**
- Strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of software (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, 2D/3D animation, and Finalcut and Adobe Premiere pro )
- The ability to partner with other creative team members to create content used across a variety of platforms (Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok )
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and have strong project management skills
- Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor and motion graphic designer
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing - 3D Blender knowledge considered a strong point
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
