The Beacon is a community of digital technology companies, working together on digital solutions for cities, ports and industry. Our team is looking for a Head of Innovation Program to... develop and run our innovation program
- We organize 40+ events every year, ranging from seminars to co-creation sessions, inspiring site visits or even programs to welcome foreign delegations. All activities are focused on new digital innovation topics. The Head of Innovation Program should have a strong interest in digital technology, a creative and associative brain to fit the pieces together, and good communication skills to set up and communicate about the Innovation Program.**Your profile**:

- You have at least a Bachelor degree, preferably** communication management, multimedia, ICT** or similar.
- You preferably have **3-5** years of working experience in a similar position
- You are **passionate about digital technology and innovation**, and want to learn every day
- You like to **take initiative and take responsibility** for your tasks
- You like to think **creatively **about ways and concepts to bring our technology companies closer together
- You are a good **planner**
- You **communicate **fluently in Dutch and English.

**Your mission**:

- Together with the team you determine the **program of activities **for the coming months. There's a big legacy of known and proven concepts, but there's **a lot of space for your creative ideas**.
- You ensure that this innovation program is **implemented from A to Z**: you set up the communication **tools **(Eventbrite, website, newsletter, social media...), and you take care of the **production **of events.
- Together with the Head of Community, you'll also take care of the **content **of the events: new content, fresh angles, and engaging the expertise of the companies from our community...
- Besides the activity program, you also take a leading role in the **communication from and about The Beacon**, and co-direct the external communication officer.
