**Senior Business Manager**:

Our Client is a global financial services provider with services predominantly in the insurance and asset management business.

They are currently looking for a **Senior Business Manager** to support the team.

The Senior Business Manager's primary role is to support the COO across responsibilities by adapting to the specific needs of the Executive and the organization. The Senior Business Manager must understand the responsibilities, needs and priorities of the COO to create the time and space needed for the COO to focus on the most strategically critical demands of the position. Responsibilities also include; assist in developing strategy, organization, coordination, analysis and support on defining and implementing strategic initiates.

**Function description**

Overall, the Senior Business Manager must exercise a high-level of judgment, work independently, in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, draw from experience to perform advanced support and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

**Tasks**:

- Support corporate strategy formulation & execution by: Steering strategy & planning across the region. Participating in strategic planning process (PD & SD cycles) including definition of topics for strategy meetings and preparing documents & analysis accordingly.
- Is aligned with the organization and the market to inform and challenge on strategic topics.
- Coordinating with the management team to align goals.
- Monitor & analyze organizational / financial KPIs to improve the company's performances and recommend based on trends and opportunities.
- Builds / gives presentations for decision making and presents to the management.
- Stakeholder management / interdepartmental collaboration - internal and external.

**Job requirements**
- Master's Degree
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Facility Management and/or Tendering is considered a big plus.
- Skilled communicator and connecting leader, innovative thinker with a drive for change and results.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Fierce determination to successfully meet complex challenges.
- Agility, adaptability and flexibility.
- Strategic Thinker with a problem-solving mindset.

- Customer focused
- Perfect knowledge of English with a good command of Dutch

**Offer**

A** 3-month** full-time Interim Management assignment with a possible prolongation by another 3 months.

Remote work is partially possible (2 days working from home).

Working location is Brussels and regular (1d/week) travel to the Netherlands is required.

**Organizational and departmental definition**

The Senior Business Manager interacts with Board members, key stakeholders and other key partners. Work with the COO to prioritize an agenda and focus on the most important issues and opportunities.
