We are seeking a **Procurement Officer** to join our Finance & People department. As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for efficient procurement of products and services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
- Identify and analyze potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans
- Monitor and track procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order placement
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to procurement and ensure compliance

**Must Haves Qualities & Talents**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Fluent in English, plus Dutch and/or French

As a Procurement Officer at DIGI Belgium, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the acquisition of goods and services necessary for our 5G infrastructure projects. Your expertise in managing procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and evaluating suppliers, will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.
