**Duur**:
**- De contractuele aanstelling van 40% waaraan het mandaat van onderzoekshoofd wordt gekoppeld, is van onbepaalde duur. Latere overstap naar een statutaire aanstelling is mogelijk.**
- **Het mandaat van onderzoekshoofd kan onmiddellijk ingaan (of wanneer technisch mogelijk) voor de resterende periode van het lopende mandaat m.n. tot en met 31/12/2024. Het mandaat is hernieuwbaar: een nieuwe mandaatsperiode wordt telkens toegewezen voor 4 jaar.**:

- **Het mandaat wordt aangevuld met een 10% contractuele aanstelling van onbepaalde duur als projectmedewerker Blikopener.**:

- **De aanstelling kan - in functie van jouw interesse, expertise en beschikbaarheid - verder uitgebreid worden tot 100% met opdrachten op specifieke onderzoeks
- of dienstverleningsprojecten of een onderwijsopdracht.**:

- **Voor het bepalen van het percentage van de opdracht van het mandaat van onderzoekshoofd, worden alle onderzoeksgerelateerde opdrachten in aanmerking genomen die in combinatie met het mandaat van onderzoekshoofd worden uitgevoerd. Dit percentage kan bijgevolg jaarlijks wijzigen. De toestand bij de start van het academiejaar is bindend voor het vastleggen van het percentage.**

**Taakomschrijving**:

- Hogeschool PXL bouwt een beleid uit waarbij het onderzoek en de dienstverlening gericht zijn op economische en maatschappelijke valorisatie en afgestemd is op de noden van de regio. Het onderzoek binnen PXL-Research is geclusterd binnen ‘innovatiewielen’ en ondergebracht in expertisecentra die geadviseerd worden door externe stakeholders.
- PXL-Research breidt uit in onderzoekscapaciteit Het expertisecentrum Business Research is een nieuw expertisecentrum. Het zal zich bezighouden met praktijkgericht wetenschappelijk onderzoek, (internationale) projecten, contractonderzoek, vormingsinitiatieven en adviesverlening binnen de sectoren waartoe het departement PXL-Business aan Hogeschool PXL opleidt. Dit omvat supply chain management, financiën en verzekeringen, accountancy
- fiscaliteit, rechtspraktijk, marketing, bedrijfsmanagement allround en organisatie & management. In het expertisecentrum Business Research bedenken we mee de innovaties in de sectoren en ondersteunen we de vertaalslag van onderzoeksinzichten naar het werkveld. Het expertisecentrum laat de onderzoeksresultaten tevens indalen in de curricula van de opleidingen van PXL-Business.
- Dit expertisecentrum is gehuisvest in PXL-Research op campus Elfde Linie.
- **FUNCTIEOMSCHRIJVING**

Als onderzoekshoofd sta je aan het hoofd van het expertisecentrum en ontwikkel, implementeer en bouw je een strategisch onderzoeksbeleid uit gesteund op ‘innovatiewielen’ Je bent een sterke manager en leidinggevende van onderzoekers en lectoren-onderzoekers voor hun taakgedeelte onderzoek en dienstverlening. Zelf sta je onder directe leiding van de directeur Onderzoek en Dienstverlening en pleeg je nauw overleg met het departementshoofd en de opleidingshoofden van PXL-Business en het managementcomité van het expertisecentrum waarin zowel interne als externe stakeholders zetelen.
- Het mandaat van onderzoekshoofd omvat 40%. Hierin stippel je i.s.m. het managementcomité het beleid van het expertisecentrum uit voor de nieuwe beleidscyclus en vertaalt dit in concrete (onderzoeks)projecten. Om dit te kunnen realiseren:
- ben je het gezicht van Business Research en voor Hogeschool PXL een overtuigde onderzoeks
- en dienstverleningsambassadeur, die actief bouwt aan interne en externe relaties, ook internationaal. Je bouwt projecten en samenwerkingsfaciliteiten uit met partners in binnen
- en buitenland.
- ga je op zoek naar financiering voor de diverse onderzoeksprojecten i.s.m. PXL-Research en ben je verantwoordelijk voor het verwerven van nieuwe dienstverleningsopdrachten. Je volgt ook de budgetten permanent op en bewaakt de financiële toestand van het expertisecentrum;
- draag je bij tot en bewaak je de kwaliteit van onderzoek en dienstverlening van het centrum;
- lever je permanent inspanningen die bijdragen tot de bevordering van de verwevenheid onderzoek, dienstverlening en onderwijs, in nauw overleg met de betrokken stakeholders;
- organiseer je de administratieve ondersteuning voor
