**Company**: We are looking for a senior Revenue Manager for a beautiful 4-star hotel, well known in the Ghent area. Besides this excellent hotel, the group will soon enter the market with a refreshing new hotel project and potentially more in the pipeline
**Duties**:
As a Senior Revenue Manager you feature a prominent place in the commercial team. In cooperation with the Sales and Reservations departments, you are constantly looking for optimization in pricing strategies. Next to revenue management for a successful 4-star hotel, you are responsible for entering the market with a new hotel product and possibly more in the future. A selection of your responsibilities:
- Day-to-day pursue of maximized **room revenue**, accurate **yield management** and well supported **pricing strategy**.
- Ensuring that sales and pricing **strategies** are based on **commercial judgement** through effective analysis and reporting.
- Gathering and **analyzing** information to identify and maximize on all possible opportunities and minimize any risks.
- Based on your knowledge of the local market, you adjust the prices to **observe closely and react rapidly**.
- You **coach your colleagues** of Reservations and Sales and inform them about your decisions.
- In monthly meetings with the owners, you will **present and defend** the obtained results.
**Profile**:
- you are skilled in profit optimization thanks to your **years of experience in Reservations & Revenue**:
- thorough knowledge of the **English **language (any knowledge of Dutch or French is welcome but not necessary)
- you have strong **communication and presentation skills**, which you use to empower your strategic decisions
