**Beschrijving**:
Laat de stad door je aderen stromen bij de Jeugddienst van het Departement Onderwijs, Opvoeding en Jeugd. Bouw mee aan een stad voor alle Gentenaars.
De Stad Gent wordt in 2024 Europese Jongerenhoofdstad. Je bent communicatiecoördinator in het team Europese Jongerenhoofdstad 2024 met als slogan “We Are The City”.
Je werkt binnen een team EYC en rapporteert aan de projectleider. Je werkt samen met een content-creator, jobstudenten en vrijwilligers.
Je werkt in nauwe samenwerking met Gentse jongeren, organisaties binnen de socio-culturele en jeugdsector en stadsdiensten. Je hebt affiniteit met de leefwereld van jongeren én het Gentse middenveld.
**Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het strategisch luik, de planning, voorbereiding, uitvoering en verwezenlijking van de communicatie van Gent EYC.**
Dit betekent dat je
- een communicatiestrategie uitbouwt en -visie ontwikkelt en coördineert;
- de communicatieplanning en jaarplanning opmaakt voor Ghent EYC;
- aanspreekpunt bent voor het communicatieluik EYC;
- de opmaak van verschillende communicatieproducten en -acties begeleidt;
- de effectiviteit van de opgeleverde communicatieproducten en -acties evalueert;
- verschillende basistaken rond communicatie opneemt (sociale media, website, nieuwsbrieven..);
- thematische werkgroepen rond communicatie thema’s plant en begeleidt;
- actief communiceert over de voortgang van je projecten naar je leidinggevende, het team en de betrokken partners en diensten;
- verantwoordelijk bent voor de aansturing van een team vrijwilligers en jobstudenten;
- aanspreekpunt bent voor andere collega’s en diensten rond de communicatie EYC;
- samen met je team EYC communicatieproducten en acties uitwerkt en specifieke events ondersteunt (openingsweekend, slotweekend, workshops, ) rekening houdend met een diversiteit aan doelgroepen.
- Google Analytics, content marketing, online marketing, SEO, enz. zijn voor jou geen loze termen. Je hebt er ook ervaring mee.
- Je hebt een goede kennis (mondeling en schriftelijk) van de Engelse taal.
**Bijkomende taken**
- Je staat mee in voor alle administratieve taken die nodig zijn om je functie uit te oefenen. Zo zal je bijvoorbeeld relevante contacten en/of acties efficiënt registreren. Korte rapporteringsnota’s opmaken schrikken jou niet af.
- Je zorgt ervoor dat de communicatie rond EYC strookt met de acties en projecten van andere stadsdiensten en middenveldorganisaties.
- Je bent bereid te werken in een werksetting die nog niet volledig ontwikkeld is. Je stuurt deze ontwikkeling zelf ook met je geniale ideeën.
- Je bent bereid vorming te volgen om bijkomende competenties te verkrijgen indien de opdracht dit vraagt.
- Je bent bereid om regelmatig ‘s avonds en in het weekend te werken als de aard van de opdracht dit vraagt.
- Je hebt een vlotte pen, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels.
**Wat krijg je van ons?**
- Een voltijdse contractuele tewerkstelling van **bepaalde duur** (contract **tot en met 31/12/2024**) op A-niveau;

**Wat zijn de voorwaarden?**
- Je hebt een master
- of bachelordiploma in een communicatierichting.
- Je hebt minstens 2 jaar aantoonbare ervaring in het domein van strategische communicatie.
- Bij start voldoe je aan de algemene voorwaarden.

**Wat zijn de selectiestappen?**
