**Position overview**:
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the full scope of Quality Management process in our production plant and research and development labs in our Drogenbos site. You will be accountable for quality assurance, ensuring consistency in the products and processes, promoting ongoing improvement and maintaining the processes according to internal and external quality guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain Quality Management procedures, including lab testing, equipment maintenance, and site-wavering processes for product release in compliance with allnex standards, ISO9001 requirements, and legal regulations.
- Use a statistical process control and quality control tools (such as SPC/SQC, Process Reviews, and Value Stream Mapping) to predict and prevent process deviations, and drive improvement and employee involvement in quality management.
- Oversee product release and support to change processes, including new product introduction, by covering Quality-specific aspects such as reliability programs, purchasing of new equipment and spare parts, preventative maintenance, and inspection.
- Collect and analyze performance data against defined parameters to monitor and report quality key performance indicators (KPIs) on a monthly basis, and utilize data analysis to support manufacturing in defining the capabilities of the process.
- Lead efforts in achieving and maintaining ISO Certifications and other specific business/industry standards, and act as the site management representative for the Quality Management System.
- Promote quality achievement and performance improvement through active communication and collaboration with other functions, including sales and procurement teams, as well as visiting customers and suppliers when needed to enhance teamwork and customer satisfaction.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical or Biochemical Engineering, or a technical field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the chemical industry or industries with equivalent quality systems.
- Structured thinking, with an aptitude for analysis and decision-making based on facts and data.
- Good knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, SPC, TPM, and LEAN.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take a hands-on approach.
- Must be fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
