The Green European Foundation (GEF) is seeking an intern with a focus on event organisation who will join us in Brussels in June 2024.

Main tasks
- Assisting the Strategy Manager in planning and implementing the European Green Academy 2024, on 22-24 November (tbc) in Brussels
- Coordinating logístical aspects of EGA
- Supporting the coordination of event registration processes
- Liaising professionally with relevant stakeholders
- Supporting the implementation of reporting processes
- Supporting the smooth running of events on the day
- Reinforcing work on evaluation of event results.
- Occasionally supporting the organisation and administration of other GEF related activities
What we are looking for
- English proficiency, additional EU language is a plus
- Full-time for 6 months, with possibility of 6 months renewal
- IT savvy, knowledge of office software (Ms Office, project management tools, etc.)
- Commitment to GEF’s values (solidarity, respect, openness, sustainability, autonomy).
What we offer
- Paid internship under a “convention d’immersion professionelle” in our Brussels office:
- 1365 EUR/month net
- Food vouchers of 7EUR/worked day
- Belgian public transport’s full reimbursement
- Phone costs’ reimbursement
- 2 EUR/day of home office allowance
- 500 EUR/6 months of training budget
- 1 day holiday/month
