**Talent Management Expert Lead**

**We’re looking for you**
As a Talent Management expert you** **contribute to the implementation and execution of talent management activities that are strategically linked to the organization’s mission and strategy and aimed to assess, develop and manage the organization’s senior and diverse talent pool. The role also tracks progress on succession pipeline strength and development and diversity initiatives for this group. Next to that you support the evaluation of the effectiveness of the overall organization's talent strategies and design/build of new solutions when relevant. Besides, you play a key role in building the Talent Management capability with the local HRBP community and bring the latest thinking to the table from the field of Talent Management. The role reports into the Head of Talent, Learning, DEI & Belonging.
**Key responsibilities**
- Serves as a partner to the local BE Exco, HR Lead and Business Partners for talent management strategy and processes, addressing questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Participates in the design, development, implementation and execution of talent management programs and initiatives that drive desired (leadership) behavior, increase employee engagement (and retention), (internal) mobility and accelerate performance through focusing on future capability building to deliver business results.
- Support and drive the Annual Talent Review (global and local), together with HRBPs and business leads to ensure a robust succession planning is in place for the critical positions within ING Belgium. Continue to work together with the local Exco and HRBPs throughout the year to follow up on (development) actions for successors and execution of the Forward Looking Talent Plan.
- Assist in measuring and assessing the impact of all Talent Management processes - provide talent analytics including diversity metrics on our key talent population.
- Develop the required know-how and skills of the HRBPs in the field of Talent Management.

- Interested in and enjoy working on Diversity & Inclusion related topics.
- Experience with and enjoy working with the most senior business leaders and HR Managers to drive the Talent Management agenda. You have an open and collaborative communication style that builds trust and credible relationships
- Delivery experience in a consulting like environment where the only asset is people. You’re able to translate data into information and create a story that keeps HRBPs and the business engaged. You know you’re way around Excel/PowerPoint, enjoy doing data analysis and have successfully management big projects. Preferably you have experience in change management, both with senior management stakeholders as well as line managers and employees.
- An eagerness to remain on top of the latest trends in Talent Management and share your expertise both within and outside of the company.
- Able to understand and oversee a process end-to-end and to design and implement “easy-to-use” processes and tools enabling the business leads to identify and develop successors for key positions. You understand how to translate strategy and future organisational capabilities into development programs in order to build a future-proof leadership pipeline.
- Profound knowledge of written and oral English and French (Dutch is a nice to have).
- Preferably you have 5+ years professional experience in competency management, succession management, organizational development, leadership development and/or executive career planning.
