**Position: Logistics and Transport Coordinator**
Your Mission:
As our Logistics and Transport Coordinator, you'll be the maestro behind orchestrating seamless goods transportation. Your role involves selecting the most fitting means of transport, managing warehousing logistics, and coordinating shipments to ensure optimal results in terms of costs, timing, and client satisfaction.
**Your Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Navigate the practicalities of goods transportation, choosing the best transport methods for cost-effective, timely, and client-satisfying deliveries.
- Administer transportation-related tasks, including drafting transport documents, handling customs procedures, managing damage and complaint files, obtaining licenses and insurance, and ensuring a smooth document flow for on-time deliveries.
- Negotiate price agreements, create offers and invoices, and establish contracts to secure favorable conditions for both clients and the organization.
- Facilitate clear communication between parties (clients, transport companies, etc.) to ensure optimal information flow.
- Oversee process execution, conduct quality controls, troubleshoot issues, and provide expert advice to maintain a high-quality service perception among clients.
- Stay updated on industry developments, keeping knowledge current, and reinforcing credibility by offering a service rooted in continually updated knowledge.
**Your Profile**:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, warehouse operations, and transportation.
- Proficiency in logistics-related software and tools (warehouse management systems, shipment tracking software, etc.).
- Understanding of customs regulations and import/export procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, especially for coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented with the capacity to work effectively with colleagues from different departments.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes in a dynamic logistics environment.
- Fluent in English/French; additional languages are an asset.
- Certification or additional training in logistics would be appreciated.
