De Volvo truckfabriek in Gent is de grootste vrachtwagenfabriek van de Volvo Group wereldwijd. Elke dag assembleren bijna 3000 collega's hier trucks van topkwaliteit. **Jouw ideale job?**
In deze rol ondersteun je, samen met een collega team lead, de groepsleider Logistics Engineering met de dagdagelijks operationele leiding. Je bent enerzijds de coach van een aantal logistieke ingenieurs, anderzijds neem je ook zelf een deel van de logistieke ingenieurstaken voor je rekening.

Samen met je team werk je proactief met onze externe en interne Volvo partners om onze logistieke processen te analyseren en te optimaliseren.

Een greep uit je takenpakket:

- Je coacht en motiveert je teamleden. Je hebt frequente afstemmomenten met hen. Ze kunnen bij jou terecht met hun day-to-day uitdagingen. Je geeft hen de nodige feedback waarmee ze aan de slag kunnen.
- Samen met je team sta je in voor de logistieke flows en de optimalisatie van deze flows.
- Je vertegenwoordigt Logistics Engineering in bepaalde operationele meetings zoals de OMS.
- Jij zorgt voor een focus op ‘continu verbeteren’ en volgt de principes van Lean Manufacturing. Je bent in staat om samen met je collega’s bestaande structuren en processen uit te dagen en waar mogelijk verbeteringen aan te brengen. Op deze manier geef je mee vorm en draag je bij tot het realiseren van het business plan binnen Logistics Engineering.

- Je bent ingenieur van opleiding of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
- Relevante werkervaring als logistiek ingenieur is een groot plusplunt.

- Communicatief ben je sterk, zowel met interne als externe stakeholders.
- Je bent stressbestendig en voelt je comfortabel in een dynamische productieomgeving.
- Je kan goed analyseren en oplossingen uitdenken van.
- Nederlands en Engels spreek en schrijf je vloeiend.
