We are hiring an **IS Tester** for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) **in Brussels**. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities

As IS Tester you will be responsible for:

- Definition of test plans and test cases.
- Construction of test scenarios and scripts.
- Execution of tests.
- Test coordination.
- Reporting of test results.
- **Resolving incidents and problems escalated to the development team as 3rd level of support**.

**LEVEL OF EDUCATION**
- Bachelor's degree of 3 years
- IT or relevant technical degree

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- Following knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:_
- Hands-on experience in the manual Testing.
- Knowledge of a Test Management Tool.
- Knowledge of a Defect Tracking tool.
- Experience in the test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases.
- Following skills are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:_
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good redaction skills, experience in preparation of written reports.
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects.
- Excellent Team Player
- Ability to understand, speak and write English at level B1
- Ability to understand, speak and write French at level B1 is an advantage

**SPECIFIC EXPERTISE EXPECTED**
- 1 to 2 years of experience in manual testing**Important**
