As a Data & AI Architect, you will be part of our Data & Analytics Talent Community and you will work with our customers to identify, document and translate their business strategy and requirements into solutions and services that enable them to achieve their business goals using Data, Analytics and AI.

In this role, you will be an expert in choosing the appropriate architecture and delivery approach while balancing costs, capacities and risks in order to achieve an optimal solution. You will also take on project management responsibilities and lead teams of motivated and skilled consultants in delivering architectures based on Microsoft Azure solutions.

With an always increasing demand for Data and AI solutions, this is a key role within Avanade, because you ensure that we can help new and existing customers together in designing and building state-of-the-art and future-proof solutions.

- You have strong knowledge of the benefits of Data, AI, ML, (Azure) PaaS, SaaS and DevOps
- you have knowledge of (Relational and NoSQL) databases, MPP, distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Databricks), data modeling (Kimball, Data Vault, Data Mesh), reporting, data warehouses and ETL.
- You feel at home in several of the following domains: Azure Databricks, Microsoft Synapse/SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, DAX, Azure ML, Azure Data Platform, Microsoft Visual Studio, MDX, Python,.NET
- You have proven experience in choosing the right architecture to optimally help the customer to gain insight into their data
- You can communicate your passion and knowledge about analytics to stakeholders in a non-technical way
- You have an Azure Solutions Architect Expert certificate or you bring a strong experience in (large) BI / Analytics project implementations using Microsoft centric BI solutions
- You have at least 6 years of relevant work experience, or can justify a similar expertise
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or another relevant field

**Day-to-day you will**:

- Define and design Architecture roadmaps and blueprints for your customer, ensuring best practices, standards, and governance
- Lead our engagements, manage client expectations, guide contract changes and handle issues and risks
- Be responsible for designing and evolving data architectures at large, mostly international, clients and align with multiple client architecture teams
- You will be strongly involved in the staffing of the projects and engage with our offshore delivery centers where and when needed
- will also perform; pre-sales activities, recruitment interviews, mentoring and support internal training programs
- You keep yourself up-to-speed with new technologies using the mandatory training time and share your knowledge within the Avanade communities
