Team Belgium's vision is to show the image of a 'winning' country and to share this sense of success with every
- one by significantly increasing the number of Belgian athletes in the Top 8 at the Olympic Games.
To support the high performance sports team we are looking for a
**Games Operations Manager
The main purpose of this role is to
- To manage projects related to the organisation of Team Belgium's participation in international multi
- disciplinary competitions or courses in Belgium and abroad,
- Work within a cross-functional team and, if necessary, manage the team for certain projects,
- Coordinate tasks such as accommodation, transport (flights, etc.) and logistics (freight, etc.) in the Olym
- pic environment and network with organisers and delegations from other countries to promote sports
performance and participant satisfaction,
- To be the guarantor of the quality of Team Belgium's missions.
The necessary training and qualifications are
- Master in management or equivalent experience,
- Certificate in agile project management (SCRUM or equivalent),
- Have participated in a sports delegation at international level,
- Have had responsibilities in the field of high level sport for at least 4 years,
- Knowledge of languages (CERCL): French or Dutch C2, Knowledge of the other language level C1,
English: level C1,
- Flexible, resilient, creative, pro-active, Hands-on, service and solution oriented,
- Organised, structured, good communication skills,
- Teamplayer and be passionate about High Performance Sport.
