We are looking for a talented individual to join our Corporate Research & Development Team in Leuven, Belgium. In the role of Process Technician you will provide support to assist in meeting the needs of our global process development teams, putting your expertise in semiconductor wafer processing into action in order to help drive innovation and create value for our internal and external customers. **Responsibilities**:

- Support cleanroom process development by processing wafers through imec semiconductor process tools, performing metrology measurements, documenting and communicating results
- Work closely with key ASM and imec stakeholders such as process, equipment engineering, facilities and metrology teams to meet and exceed processing quality and output objectives
- Develop and leverage expertise in hardware, process and process-hardware interactions to maximize operational quality
- Support logistics of cleanroom operations for ASM stakeholders by efficiently tracking and managing wafer flows and inventory storage (FOUPs, FOSBs)
- Support coordination of lot processing for internal customers by receiving wafers, planning and executing defined process sequences, and handling return shipping
- Note: Highly preferred for the person in this role to work second shift and/or weekends in order to maximize productivity

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical / engineering focus
- 2-5 years’ work experience as a clean room technician, preferably within the semiconductor industry

**Skills**
- Knowledge of thin films and working with silicon wafers
- Demonstrated track record of process/equipment/product support in an engineering environment
- Hands on experience with spreadsheets, data analysis and documentation
- Basic problem solving skills
- Strong safety first and housekeeping focus
- Strong cleanroom protocol habits and execution
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work alone and/or with limited supervision
- Ability to multi-task and complete assignments error-free
