For our intervention center in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw (see the map here) we’re looking for a Team Leader Pipeline Inspection (M/F/x).

The Sint-Pieters-Leeuw Intervention Centre is primarily tasked with ensuring the continuity of the natural gas grid. To this end, our teams are ready 24 hours a day to carry out scheduled and unforeseen work on our gas transmission facilities, as well as adapting, repairing and building such facilities.

**Job**
**responsibilities**:

- Working with a team of technicians, you will monitor the integrity of the Fluxys natural gas transmission system by carrying out pigging operations to inspect the internal condition of our pipelines
- You will receive extensive training to this end, where you will gain the necessary understanding of how to use intelligent pigging to clean and inspect the internal condition of pipes
- You will manage a specialist team and coordinate pigging operations. You will be responsible for:

- assessing the piggability of the pipelines, in consultation with a project manager where required, and having the necessary adjustments made
- scheduling pigging operations, in consultation with the other Fluxys teams involved
- coordinating the construction and dismantling of temporary facilities along the pipelines to be pigged
- coordinating cleaning runs, where the interior of the pipes is cleaned by means of pigging
- overseeing intelligent pigging operations carried out by a contractor, and taking any action needed to facilitate them
- ensuring the safety of the site at all times
- You will liaise with your colleagues to prepare a multi-year schedule for inspections and will discuss this with all parties involved
- You will deal with the administrative side of pigging operations and will compile the necessary reports
- Though the Sint-Pieters-Leeuw Intervention Centre will serve as your base of operations, you will mainly work on sites throughout Belgium

- A **bachelor in electromechanics **or equivalent experience

- A good grasp of MS Office

Additionally, this role requires:

- Residence within a radius of 60 minutes of the Sint-Pieters-Leeuw Intervention Centre
- A category B driving licence
