The Telenet Group is refining the Environmental Sustainability strategy with a strong focus on our climate ambitions, these will be enforced through SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative).

**Working in the Environmental Sustainability Office**

The Environmental Sustainability Office operates as a hub of expertise. It has a compact team of environmental professionals. This team empowers and assists the business in achieving our environmental goals. It is up to the Office to build up environmental knowledge and maturity and transfer relevant knowledge to the business. The Environmental Sustainability Office is part of the broader Sustainability Program Office that overlooks the ESG agenda for Telenet Group.

**Your tasks as a Environmental Business Coach**

As an Environmental Business Coach you play an essential role to achieve the environmental targets within Telenet Group. You will work closely with business experts and the leadership team to drive their environmental impact down. And will report to the environmental sustainability officer, who reports to the CEO & sustainability office lead.
- You support inventory and progress analysis across all scopes and entities
- As a Subject Matter Expert you ensure data quality & completeness towards reporting on environmental matters across all entities
- You ensure consistent calculation & interpretation of environmental metrics
- You define sources and levers to drive environmental impact down
- You monitor progress and take initiative to define extra effort to meet the targets
- You support business owners with a baseline for their specific activities
- You support the business to calculate the impact of initiatives & business decisions from an environmental angle throughout the entire value chain
- You coach colleagues to ensure the execution of initiatives and epics is done in the most sustainable way possible
- You support the EU CSRD & EU Taxonomy readiness & correct implementation You manage the reporting & monitoring towards CDP & SBTi commitments

**Our ideal Environmental Business Coach**
- You have a background in environmental sustainability via work experience or studies (environmental sciences, environmental technology, sustainability management,) and are very passionate about this topic
- You are accurate, have strong analytical skills and love working with data and complex data models
- You are a system-thinker and understand the impact on the whole value chain
- You have project management & (workshop) facilitation skills to fall back on
- You are a team player with strong communication & presentation skills
- Even when things get tough, you remain positive and keep your eyes on the future
- Can create new methodologies, way of working & implement them within the company
